Mary McCartney Jones

Mary is a multi-media artist that lives in Jamestown, IN. She attended the John Heron School of Art in Indianapolis and enjoys painting in all mediums – making color her main point of her work. She says she has a deep desire to paint the world around her and feels she is a very diversified artist.

Mary has painted numerous murals for the St. Vincent’s Stress Center in Indianapolis. She has also painted many backdrops and scenes for local plays and productions at the local high school, and has even done outside barn quilts for residents of the community to hang on their barns for the public to drive past and enjoy.

Mary also offers drawing classes for youth and adults on Saturdays.  A private youth session is offered  from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for $15 per hour. Adult classes are offered in groups of 5 or more for $10 (or $15 for a solo session) from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Feel free to contact Mary directly!
